What this page is, and what it is not
Where it comes from
A scheduled job polls a fixed list of public RSS and API feeds once a day and writes a single JSON file that this page renders. The full list of feeds polled for this build is at the bottom of the page, each linked to its own site, with how much each one contributed.
What decided which items are on the page is stated above the list, in the build's own words, and that sentence is the whole of it. This page adds nothing to it: no editorial pick, no importance score, no measure of how much any of it matters. The order you see is whatever the sort control says, which is publication date, newest first.
About the summaries
Cards marked AI summary were written by a language model from the source's own text. Models paraphrase, and paraphrase introduces error: a number can move, a hedge can vanish, an attribution can shift. Read the summary as a pointer, not as a quotation, and follow the link before relying on anything.
Cards marked AI summary · from the title alone are weaker still: the feed carried no article text for the model to read, so the summary is an expansion of the headline and nothing more. Treat it as a pointer to the link, not as a description of what the piece says.
Cards marked feed excerpt carry text the publisher wrote and the job copied unchanged. The three are never mixed and never relabelled as each other. Titles are always the publisher's own, never rewritten.
The paragraph at the top of the page, when one is present, was written by the same language model, from the items below and nothing else. It is not reporting, and every claim in it should be traceable to one of those items.
